T minus 2 Days!

Hello all!

The day of departure is fast approaching, so I wanted to give you an idea of what my itinerary will look like. I’ll be flying into Frankfurt (which is the 3rd busiest airport in Europe, can you guess what the first two are?) Wednesday afternoon. In Frankfurt I’ll meet up with my good friend Simone (who was an exchange student at my high school four years ago), and I’ll be spending the first four nights with Simone and her family in their Heimatstadt Siegen. After that, I’ll be catching a train from Frankfurt and head north to Güby, where I’ll settle in for three weeks of work as an English language assistant! I’m getting very excited, and also a little nervous, this trip will certainly be different from anything else I’ve ever done! I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures and thoughts on life in Germany!
